I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

The first coat of filler is drying...that canopy looks huge!!
David Duckett, Image # 1977823 Oct 10 15:59

The plans have the exhaust against the former but that's wrong. They're a bit small, too, but.....

Even your planking is precise and perfect on this bad boy. Your work is really educational and inspiring. I look forward to future pics.

Unfortunately it still takes a lot of time and I've been up at midnight working on it so...I think there's about 30 hours in it at this point.

The cowl, which fits perfectly, is glued in place and the rest of the filling continues. There's about 9 hours on this session.
David Duckett, Image # 1975221 Oct 10 14:57

The cowl can be made removeable.

Using 1/8" sheet to fill

The next pics will make it all clearer.....

Can you say, "gussett?" I thought you could... I added about twice that many myself. (everywhere I could make one fit, actually...) So, you're making all the stringers 3/32", right? Will you fill in the entire fuse with 3/32" planks? Note that the trailing edge on the wing is flimsy at best, and if given the chance, I would have strengthened both sides considerably.
