Listed as the "Starboard" flying wires on the official Sopwith plan. I guess the Sopwith was more formal in direction than the USAF!! |

Flying wires are double and pass thru the tip of the middle wing. On this model they are structural and really lock the wings. |

Flying wires. The factory chart lists their diameter..little over an inch. More like a rod. Similar diameter on the LG and cabane wire. |

Ah yes, a gentle zephyr! Not quite what one would expect over the skies of Russia but funny, anyway. |

I know, but it gives the pilot a gentle zephyr. Thinking about the larger prop as this adventure is winding down. I may laminate some veneer this afternoon to start the prop production. |

It is getting hard to find gas resistant rubber "O" rings for fuel line installs. |

Thanks, it looks much better in normal size, on the plane. I will hook it up with piping later today. |

The Pfalz D-IIIa, my next attempt at building a bit of history. |

Moos you must be psychic. Kay, at aerodrome RC, cut my next build this past Saturday. It arrived today. VA has enough Fokkers, but I do not recall seeing a Pfalz D-IIIa!!! |

Hey, you could always do a Fokker DR-1. Nice. |
