Yes it took some "Pain" to burnish or jewel the aluminum tape on the cowling using a brass brush on a Dremel tool!

Amazing work John!!! I love the stitching pattern on the wings. Did you pain that metal pattern on the cowling?

Accomplished a bit of painting and I fitted the middle wing. Three wings = 3X the "FUN!"

VERY VERY NICE

Only gravity is holding the wing assembly together.
John M Oshust, Image # 2146004 Mar 11 18:25

The stiching does really make the wings "POP!"

Thanks for the votes of confidence but this one is far from complete and, at the present, does not rank first in my book.

The sings should eventually fall into place.

The middle wing need TLC adjustment. All 3 wings must be parallel....tomorrow's project.

Yo, Betsy Ross.. Missed one. Gotta love detailing. Nice O'Man.

This is the key to mounting the wings....this time! This rubber holds the top wing firmly and securely on the cabane struts. The top wing is the guide to attach and align the BW. The Bw will be epoxied in place. When the LW is permanent, I can remove the top wing to facilitae middle wing fitting, alignment, and installation.
