The plastic pieces for multi-engine models, mainly Guillows, have always given me trouble and required a lot of work. I like the control you have doing it this way but there is some fancy carving required for the front end of the engines where a plastic part would certainly come in handy. |

DD...Do you prefer to build up engine housings on multi engine models with formers and stringers or have kit supplied vacuum formed plastic housings? |

Maybe a bit late for this project, but try microwaving 1 or 2 at a time for 9-12 seconds in a damp paper towel (after they've soaked). Makes them quite a bit more malleable. |
