I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

How is the wood quality and printing?

You're right and I really do like the beam type construction. It's definitely easier than the typical former/keel style and it's faster, as well.

Even though it looks pretty complicated, it seems like quite a fun and quick (relative to the number of parts) build. Do you like this "Beam" style so far?

Love the complexity of structure.

Looking very nice DD.

The wheelwells will have a solid piece installed to cover the open space and serve as a platform on which to mount the landing gear.

next will be the front top and bottom keels and then stringers.

The aft bottom keel and side pieces for the landing gear doors installed.

The beam is glued to the wing and the two formers which define the wheel well have also been attached.

The wings have one coat of filler and I'll put on another application and sand before starting the build.

This is better for plastic pieces than Liquitex as it covers better. I painted the black pieces from the 1/72 kit so I can see what the nacelle looks like with open landing gear doors.

All the big Guillows kits because there is so much plastic, the Dave Diels kits ( DO 335 ), the West Wings Sea Fury...It does take a lot of time prepping all the parts for this plane but the actual assembly is fairly easy.
