Thanks, guys. It's a new one to me, too, and I do like the shape. I also like the fact that the only plastic on it is the canopy although it will have plastic wheels. These small kits are a challenge but rewarding builds.

Elmers white glue is used to fill the small gaps as it dries clear.

Thank you. They may not be masterpieces but if I don't try to do the best I can, why bother?

yes I am accustomed to ebay. I got a p-39 and mosquito from them.
David Duckett, Comment for image # 3501920 Nov 15 10:53
It is no longer available but I did get it from Ebay. Have you tried Ebay, Brian? You can get nearly anything. I really suggest you try it next time you need something.

The canopies in Diels kits are made of light material but gain a lot of strength when glued in place. They do not have raised frame outlines and there's not a lot of excess plastic. I first trimmed the canopy to a rough fit, removing the front and back support parts. Then I taped it in place with clear tape to make sure it fits. Finally 1/16" Pactra masking tape is used to outline and the excess will be trimmed away with scissors, cutting to the outside of the tape.
